What is your minimum order?

 

We know that you don’t always want to buy lots of items, especially when you’re looking to re-order just a few things, so we don’t have a minimum order value. We do apply a carriage charge of £7.50 to all orders under £100 [excluding vat] though, otherwise it costs us more to pick, pack and ship that we can make from the order. And we need to remain profitable if we’re going to be able to continue to supply you with all of your workplace supplies!

What are your delivery charges?


To the UK mainland (excluding the Highlands/Islands) our charges are:

  • Free delivery on all orders over £100, excluding vat
  • For all orders under £100 please add £7.50 + vat
  • We aim for next day delivery, however please allow 1-3 working days during busy periods.

 

The following postcodes are NOT considered UK Mainland by our couriers:

 

IM, IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-88, PH19-44, TR21-25, ZE and Isle of Wight

 

Parcel deliveries

 

All parcel deliveries are made by our courier City Link. Deliveries are made between 8:30am - 6:00pm. It is essential that your order is consigned to a 'manned' address, where our courier can obtain a signature on delivery. The courier cannot deliver to a neighbour or an alternative delivery address. If the courier is unable to make the delivery to the specified address and has to return at a later date, a supplementary charge may have to be made. We are unable to give ETAs on deliveries until after 3pm on the expected delivery date.

 

Collections

 

Collections can be made from our Logistics Centre in Swindon, Monday to Friday between 08.00 and 17.00. Goods are generally available for next day collection. If an item is not available then a member of our Customer Service team will contact you to advise when the item will be due back in to stock and offer you an alternative product if a suitable option is available.

What payment options do I have?

 

Credit account

 

If you would like to apply for a credit account then please download our Credit Application form. Credit accounts are available to all clients once we have completed our credit check. For your reference, we have partnered with CreditSafe for all of our financial decision making on a client, although we will override any decision at our discretion.

 

All account applications, and all orders, are subject to our terms and conditions.

 

You can also pay by:

 

Credit or debit card. We accept Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo and American Express.

 

Bank transfer. Our bank details are available here. Please ensure that you email a copy of the remittance advice to our finance department; finance@consumables.com

 

Cheque. Please make cheques payable to Consumables Solutions and post to Consumables, 1000 Lakeside, North Harbour, Portsmouth, PO6 3EN.

 

Please note that we do not accept payment via PayPal.

 

Payment security

 

All of our credit card payments, both online and offline, are processed by CyberSource, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Visa Inc. CyberSource is an established industry leader that plays a role in processing approximately 25 percent of all eCommerce dollars transacted in the United States. The company serves more than 295,000 merchants through its CyberSource and Authorize.Net branded solutions. What is your returns policy?

 

Product can only be returned to us once a valid returns number has been obtained. To return your item, call us on 0844 893 6500 and provide us with your order and item details. We will confirm your returns number which you will need to note on the paperwork that you return with the item. We will also arrange for a courier to collect your goods [please note that a charge may apply depending on the reason for return]. Please make sure courier collected products are well packaged for their return journey.

What is your refund policy?

 

If any of our products fall below the high standard you expect, we'll happily refund or exchange it within 14 days. We will also refund or exchange it if you change your mind within 14 days, provided you return it as sold with all the original packaging, tags, labels and accessories. You'll need your order confirmation email to do this.

How do I track my delivery?

 

When you place an order with us we will send you an order confirmation to confirm your order. We will then send you another email when your order has been despatched. We use two methods of despatch; pallets or parcels. If your order has been despatched as parcels you will be able to track it by clicking on the ‘Track my order’ in your confirmation email. Unfortunately our pallet company doesn't currently have a tracking facility set up. Generally pallet orders are delivered within two working days for mainland UK.

 

If you don't receive a despatch confirmation email, you can track your order online via ‘My Account’ and clicking on the ‘See Orders’ link. If your order has been shipped, you will see a tracking number. You can click this link to be taken to our couriers website.
